    Behavioral Concepts, (BCI) announces a search for the Director of Regional Services for our Springfield region. BCI is one of the largest providers of community-based autism/ABA services employing over 80 BCBAs throughout central Massachusetts. Our expanding organization has an opening for a talented behavior analyst with a passion for social skills and group instruction to direct our intensive day, after school and social skills programs in our Springfield Office. BCI currently operates centers in Fitchburg and Worcester. We provide home and community services to very young children commencing with early intervention specialty services through young adulthood.     The Director of Regional Services, Springfield, will provide supervision, training, and oversight of all on-site and off-site programs, Assistant Directors of Center-Based Services, Program Coordinators, as well as direct staff. The Director is responsible for maintaining client numbers, including conducting intakes and assessments for new clients. This position will also participate as a member of the organization's Senior Leadership Team, as well as maintain a supervision caseload of BCBAs and/or Lead Therapists.


    Programs Oversight

    • Supervision and management of all home and center-based Services in the Springfield regional office
    • Curriculum development and oversight for Center-Based program
    • Development and implementation of on-site policies and procedures
    • Interviewing and hiring direct care staff
    • Scheduling and staff management for home-based and center-based services, including caseload management on Accupoint
    • Management and oversight of inventory and instructional space and group schedules
    • Act as a liaison for families and staff when direct supervisor is unavailable


    Staff Supervision

    • Supervision of Center-Based Services Department staff, including Assistant Directors and Program Coordinators, Behavior Analysts serving center and home clients
    • Bi-weekly supervision of assigned BCBA/Lead Therapist supervisees
    • Caseload management of all assigned supervisees
    • Case consultation and support on all supervisee cases


    Intakes & Assessments

    • Conduct intakes for new clients across all Center-Based Programs
    • Facilitate and conduct assessments for new clients
    • Provide tours of Center for prospective clients


    1. Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Massachusetts state licensure as a Behavior Analyst or eligibility for licensure
    2. A minimum of 3 years of progressive supervisory experience
    3. Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment with staff members
    4. Excellent attention to detail
    5. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
    6. Displays ability to coordinate with all others, contributes to Instructional knowledge and spirit in identifiable and demonstrated ways, helps to resolve conflicts when they arise; conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times.
    7. Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and takes ownership of tasks and assignments.
    8. Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication.
